Summer Solstice Celebration - June 20, 2020, 5pm - 9pm
Our last gathering in physical space was Sunday, March 8. Since then, for almost 100 days, we’ve been in the desert.
And though these last few months have been challenging, they’ve also given us the opportunity to call forth the good in ways we’ve never done before. Whether we recognize it or not, we’ve become stronger and more aware.
But our time in the desert is over, and it’s now time to join together again as family in our Unity oasis.
So we’ll be celebrating coming home to Unity on the Summer Solstice in our beautiful, lush garden, where we can sing, and play, and enjoy dinner and music in the circle of belonging – while of course following distancing guidelines.
Bring your dinner, a picnic blanket or chair, musical instruments, and a friend or two; the evening will include an open mic where everyone in our community is invited to sing or share poetry or stories and lessons from the desert.
Shawn Madden will lead us in a musical celebration of our community’s return to the Oasis of our church space, and we will conduct a very special Summer Solstice ritual at sunset.
We will be complying with the CDC’s Guidelines for outdoor events. R.S.V.P. required.
Sorry – we have reached maximum capacity.
