Advent Sunday – Hope and Faith
Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Charles Fillmore said that when we come from a place of faith, hope is the expectation of good in the future while faith is knowing that our good is available now.
Hope without faith turns into wishful thinking with no action. But hope used to clarify our desires can inspire us to make positive changes
Join us this first Sunday of Advent; Rev. Deanna will talk about the two kinds of hope, and the power of hope and faith when they partner up for our highest good.
