Currently our Youth of Unity Director is Stasha Robbins. A Crafton Hills College student, Stasha’s interests and studies include Drama, the Arts, and Theater. Stasha enjoys co-creating Sunday Youth services with Rev. Suzanne. Included in these lessons are reciting the Prayer for Protection, Bible stories, Arts and Crafts, Songs, and Music. The Youth are invited into the Sanctuary at the end of the service and receive a congregational blessing. Stasha and Rev. Suzanne look forward to expanding this program as more youth enjoy us on Sunday.
Here is a recent picture of our Youth reporting to the congregation on their Sunday School adventure.
Here we are in celebration. Our Shepherds have just played their ukuleles and serenaded as with the Manifest song from Mark Welsh’s CD. Then, they distributed to the congregation goldfish, loaves, and fishes!
Valentine’s love skit: February 12; tune in for pictures. This year, our youth department will be full of skits, songs, and spiritual commentary. Join us, as we learn from our youth about love, life, and Jesus. In teaching youth about Jesus, we encourage and remind them through his teachings to know that they are are as good as he was, we remind them that Jesus was a teacher of truths for all children that there is good in all of us no matter who we are, where we live, or what language we speak
