Andrew Samaniego, Life Scout, with Troop 11 of Redlands, earns the “Light of God” award here at Unity.

The purpose is to give young people in Unity a practical method to achieve a basic spiritual understanding of the truths taught by Unity, to support and recognize youth for their achievements in the presence of the church body, and to provide recognition by Boy Scouts of America.

Andrew is also working on Fillmore Youth Award, which is the highest religious honor within the Unity Church for our Youth.

This award helps teens achieve a greater understanding of:

• Who they are
• The laws and principles of practical Christianity as taught by Unity
• The personal, Christ within
• How to relate and integrate spiritual principles into daily life.

We know Andrew recently started working on Eagle Project and is looking forward to being a Eagle Scout early in 2012. We are here always to support you and encourage you.
